I'm Flora, a mixed media painter, collage artist, and installation maker. I create layered artworks and immersive sensory environments that celebrate memory, texture, and transformation. Creativity runs in my family of artists, teachers, and musicians, and my own path has meandered through art school, motherhood, festival décor, outsider art, and performance. Along the way, I discovered a love for making not just objects, but experiences—spaces you can step into, explore, and feel with all your senses. A late-in-life AuDHD diagnosis helped me understand the intensity of how I experience the world—through colour, texture, sound, and movement. This awareness shapes both my art and the workshops I lead, whether in groups or one-to-one sessions, guiding others to explore creativity as a tool for expression, clarity, and connection. Through my work, I discover, notice, and bring the hidden into the light, inviting others to experience the transformation of everyday materials and moments into beauty, story, and sensory experience.
